Looks to me like you may be in the west country. Looe at a guess, but I may be wrong. Pop in on the way back for a chinwag?

I can heartily recommend the Visiting Porthcurno Telegraph Museum if you are down this way.

Well; spot on Internet detection for a dead Scottish inventor/plagarist. We are indeed in Looe. Cue sequence of hilarious puns - I can't be bother either.
The mobile blogger thang stole my review so here it is.

After sniffing around various provinders, some not individual enough, some offering far too many bizarro fillings and some dreadful service I settled on Martins Dairy. A proper cafe/bakers no doubts here these pasties are made here. The cafe element had the necessary trimings, formica, lino and 2 old bats eating cheese on toast. The pasty was worth the effort of finding it. Firm thin pastry, all the correct ingredients ( I especially appreciated the lashings of white pepper ) in the filling. Available in 2 sizes small and not small. I went for small to reserve space for an ice cream. Well done Martins Dairy 8/10.

8/10 - a commendable start to the piefari and one that may be hard to beat, unless you seek out the 'special steak pasty' at Warrens in the precinct in Taunton. Nearly a foot long and crammed with fine chunks of well seasoned meat and vegetables - a possible 10.
